Rice Probably Will Be Activated
Four weeks after suffering a hyperextended right knee that was expected to sideline him for two weeks, Glen Rice probably will be activated for tonight’s game against Orlando at Staples Center.
Whether he’ll make his Clipper debut tonight or next week during a three-game trip through the Midwest was less certain, but Rice is expected to replace injured forward Elton Brand on the active roster.
“I’ll make a decision [today],” Coach Mike Dunleavy said. “It’s just a matter of conditioning, or just kind of seeing it.”
Rice, signed as a free agent last month, suffered the injury during an Oct. 17 exhibition.
