Oxnard Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash
A 26-year-old Oxnard man died Saturday after losing control of his motorcycle in Camarillo and crashing, authorities said.
Manuel Coronado Jr. was pronounced dead about 11 a.m. at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, about 40 minutes after crashing his Suzuki on Beardsley Road, approximately half a mile east of Sterling Hills Drive, authorities said.
Coronado’s motorcycle clipped a curb and then struck a concrete wall. He had just left a construction site in the area where he was helping build a home.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to preliminary tests. An autopsy was scheduled for today.
