Steve Suter, Rich Parson and Derrick Fenner had touchdown receptions to help the Terrapins (4-2, 1-1 ACC) beat the Tigers for the third straight time since Ralph Friedgen took over as coach.

Derrick Hamilton caught seven passes for a career-high 175 yards and a touchdown for Clemson (3-2, 1-1) which had a three-game winning streak stopped.

Georgia Tech 29, North Carolina State 21 -- Reggie Ball threw for 283 yards and two touchdowns and the Yellow Jackets held Philip Rivers and the Wolfpack to their lowest point total of the season at Atlanta.

The Wolfpack (3-3, 1-2 ACC) came in averaging 43.4 points a game -- third-best in Division I-A -- and 366 yards passing. But the Yellow Jackets (3-3, 1-2) executed their game plan by blitzing from all angles and quickly tackling receivers.

Rivers was 31 of 46 passing for 344 yards and two touchdowns, including a meaningless score with six seconds left.

Lundy has rushed for 100 or more yards in six of his last nine games for the Cavaliers (4-1, 3-0 ACC), off to their best league start since 1998.

Matt Schaub, playing his second game since missing a month because of a separated shoulder, completed 19 of 22 passes for 284 yards and two touchdowns.
