Elton John will be moving into the house that Celine built.

The English entertainer and Caesars Palace officials announced Tuesday that he would perform 75 shows over the next three years at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the 4,100-seat theater that was built for Celine Dion’s current three-year engagement. She performs five nights a week 40 weeks a year, a schedule that will not be affected by the John dates.

Photographer David LaChappelle will be the production designer and director of John’s show, which will be titled “The Red Piano.” Tickets will go on sale today for the initial booking, Feb. 13-22.

Although concerts by such artists as Tim McGraw and Mariah Carey have been held at the $95-million facility, John’s is the first extended engagement to be scheduled there besides Dion’s.
