Maupin novel: After a 15-year absence, Michael Tolliver, the gay character at the center of Armistead Maupin’s popular “Tales of the City” novels, will return to print in a new novel by the San Francisco-based author, “Michael Tolliver Lives,” HarperCollins Publishers said.
