The Archdiocese of Detroit said it has removed two priests from public duty after investigating complaints that they sexually abused boys years ago.

The church refused to say Sunday where or when the incidents are alleged to have occurred, or where Fathers Michael Malawy, 49, and Timothy Murray, 54, are now. Spokesman Richard Laskos said both priests have cooperated and that police declined to pursue the cases because they were too old.
