The Defense Department last week also identified the following American military personnel killed in Iraq and Afghanistan:

Ricky L. Crockett, 37, of Broxton, Ga.; staff sergeant, Army. Crockett was killed Monday when he was struck by an improvised explosive device while on a mounted patrol in Baghdad. He was assigned to Company D, 51st Signal Battalion, XVIII Airborne Corps at Ft. Bragg, N.C.

Keicia M. Hines, 27, of Citrus Heights, Calif.; sergeant, Army. Hines was killed Wednesday when she was struck by a vehicle at Mosul Airfield in Iraq. She was assigned to the 108th Military Police, Combat Support Company at Ft. Bragg, N.C.

Roy A. Wood, 47, of Alva, Fla.; sergeant, Army National Guard. Wood was killed Jan. 9 when the Humvee in which he was riding struck another vehicle near Kabul, Afghanistan. He was assigned to Company C, 3rd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Army National Guard based in Starke, Fla.
