Update --The Sparks will have a very interested spectator at their games tonight and in Houston on Saturday. Team President Johnny Buss said how the team performs will go a long way in determining how soon he will replace departing Coach Michael Cooper, who will join the Denver Nugget staff Sunday. The Sparks have won four straight and five of their last six to move into first place (with Seattle) in the Western Conference. The Silver Stars have lost their last three games, are suffering through a second straight dreadful season and are reaching a crossroads as to the direction of the team. Marie Ferdinand, who suffered a dislocated right elbow in the game against the Sparks last week, was put on the injured list. Guard Tai Dillard (hamstring) was activated to replace Ferdinand.
