Governor’s Promise
Re “From Wages to Canadian Drugs, Bills Contain Risks for Governor,” May 29. As I recall, one of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s campaign promises was to be free of being beholden to special interests because he’s already rich. If Schwarzenegger is going to have to make some tough choices, he needs to remember that he promised citizens he would not be influenced by special-interest money and that he promised to turn this state around, not pander to the money-grubbing corporations.
