Judge’s Arraignment Delayed Until July
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A scheduled arraignment of Santa Barbara County Superior Court Judge Diana R. Hall was continued Tuesday until July 12 to give her attorney time to study more than 1,200 pages of discovery material collected in connection with charges of violating campaign finance laws.
Assistant Dist. Atty. Kimberly Smith is prosecuting Hall on eight misdemeanor charges that she violated the California Political Reform Act by failing to properly report a $20,000 campaign loan in 2002 from her former domestic partner.
