Those Major Colleges Just Don’t Get It

Perhaps Coach Gary Barnett and everyone else at the University of Colorado should sit down for a long chat with the administrators of the Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies [Eric Sondheimer’s column, May 30]. Sherman Oaks Principal Bob Weinberg actually knew how to act like the “adult in charge” by declining a baseball playoff invitation because his team exhibited a disappointing lack of commitment to the game. Integrity and ethics were underlined and upheld.
