Long Beach to Celebrate 1984 Olympic Games
A 20-year anniversary celebration of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics will be held Monday night in the entertainment center grand ballroom of the Long Beach Convention Center. The event, held in conjunction with the U.S. swim trials in Long Beach and with Peter Ueberroth and Long Beach Mayor Beverly O’Neill serving as co-hosts, will include past and present Olympians and a special retrospective film on the Olympics by Bud Greenspan.
