GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
* Lauren Pederson, Brea Olinda: Had 20 points, six assists, three steals and one blocked shot for the No. 1-seeded, No. 5-ranked Wildcats in a 61-48 Division II-A semifinal victory over Hesperia.
* Erika Arriaran, Norco: Scored 30 points for the No. 3-seeded, No. 16-ranked Cougars in a 70-62 Division II-AA win over No. 2-seeded, No. 10-ranked Riverside North.
BOYS’ SOCCER
* B.J. Pugmire, Anaheim Esperanza: Scored the winning goal in sudden death for the host Aztecs in a 3-2 Division I semifinal win over third-seeded Pomona Diamond Ranch.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
* Becky Steen and Kaitlin Foley, Rancho Santa Margarita Tesoro: Each scored a goal for the fourth-seeded Titans in a 2-1 Division II semifinal upset of host and top-seeded Arcadia, ranked No. 2 by The Times.
* Carla Arbulu, Arroyo Grande: Scored both goals, including the game-winner in overtime, for the Eagles in a 2-1 Division III semifinal victory over second-seeded Fullerton Sunny Hills, ranked No. 8 by The Times.
* Sade Tate, Phelan Serrano: Scored the game-winning goal in the 71st minute for the Diamondbacks in a 2-1 Division IV semifinal upset of fourth-seeded Pasadena Poly, ranked No. 10 by The Times.
