Casino Foes Warn of Environmental Issues

Opponents of a casino in Rohnert Park told officials at a hearing in Santa Rosa that the casino would be “an environmental disaster in the making.”
If the casino is built, critics said Wednesday, it will draw down scarce groundwater, threaten endangered species and clog local streets with traffic.
