TODAY’S GAMES
No. 1 DUKE vs. No. 8 SETON HALL
* Site: Raleigh, N.C. * Time: 10:10 a.m. PST.
* What to watch for: Duke (28-5) will have to see quickly if senior point guard Chris Duhon’s bruised ribs have improved enough to make him half the player he was this season. If he isn’t, and J.J. Redick continues to have problems shooting -- and not shooting -- the Blue Devils could be in trouble. Daniel Ewing and Shelden Williams need to have big games, as they did in a 96-61 victory over bottom-seeded Alabama State. It will be interesting to see if Seton Hall (21-9) has anything left after expending so much energy in its 80-76 comeback victory over Arizona Thursday.
* Key to the game: Redick’s shooting. If the sophomore makes his shots early and gets in rhythm, it should be lights out for the Pirates.

No. 3 TEXAS vs. No. 6 NORTH CAROLINA
* Site: Denver. * Time: 5:10 p.m. PST.
* What to look for: A high-scoring, up-tempo game orchestrated by two hyperactive offensive coaches in Rick Barnes of Texas and Roy Williams of North Carolina. Texas (24-7) appears to have the advantage in this race in that the Longhorns are bigger, stronger and have far more depth and experience than North Carolina (19-10). In fact, the type of team Barnes has built at Texas is just the kind of squad Williams is trying to mold in his first season at Chapel Hill.
* Key to the game: North Carolina must keep Sean May, its only true post player, out of foul trouble. Otherwise, Texas will dominate inside and maybe win going away.
