It’s Madness!
A national television audience witnessed a tender moment Sunday as a young boy, clad in a diminutive blue Duke uniform, wept in his father’s arms as his Blue Devils fell behind to a resilient Maryland team in the waning moments of overtime in the Atlantic Coast Conference final.
The father hugged him gently and mouthed these consoling words: “It’s OK, son, we’ll still get a No. 1 seed no matter what happens.”
