U.S. Honors 19 Soldiers Killed in Korean War
From Times Wire Reports
The U.S. military in South Korea honored 19 soldiers whose remains were recovered in North Korea more than 50 years after the troops were killed in the Korean War.
The remains, believed to be those of Americans who fought in the winter of 1950, were obtained during a recent joint U.S.-North Korean recovery operation. The remains were to be transported to Hawaii for identification testing.
