Update -- Schilling has been pitching despite an inflamed right ankle for weeks, but the veteran does not expect it to hinder him. Schilling’s sparkling playoff record (6-1, 1.74 ERA in 12 starts) will be put to the test by the Yankees, who hit a franchise-record 242 homers. Mussina has held Manny Ramirez to a .203 career average (15 for 74), but five of those hits were homers.
