Beethoven beginning
Ventura College Community Orchestra, under the direction of Burns Taft, will launch its performance season with Beethoven’s “Eroica” symphony. The program also features Enrique Granados’ “Danza Espanola,” and Llewellyn Werner, an 8-year-old wunderkind who studies with pianist Daniel Pollack, will solo on Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
