Support Erodes for School Funding Measure

Support is slipping for a ballot initiative that would require state legislators to boost funding for public schools to the national average, a statewide poll shows.
The poll by the Las Vegas Review-Journal found 47% supported the measure, 42% opposed it and 11% were undecided.
The education measure would result in an estimated $500-million increase in funding for public schools annually.
