* Cantor Fitzgerald, the bond brokerage firm that suffered 658 deaths in the Sept. 11 attacks -- more than any other company -- sued Al Qaeda, Saudi Arabia and dozens of foreign companies seeking damages related to the World Trade Center attacks.

* Las Vegas Sands Corp., which operates the Venetian Casino Resort, filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a $350-million initial public offering of stock. The proceeds may be used to build projects in Asia and Britain, the company said.
