Re “This Time, It’s Native Americans Who Stake a Claim to Prime Land,” Sept. 22: Museums of flight, museums of history, museums honoring those who died in atrocities that did not take place on U.S. soil. All these museums and now one more. What do I say about all of this? Finally, America has paid a much-deserved tribute to its native peoples [with the new National Museum of the American Indian in Washington]. Though it can hardly make up for the “holocaust” suffered by Native Americans, it is a decent start.
