Tree-Trimmer Falls 30 Feet to His Death

The owner of a gardening service fell about 30 feet to his death Friday while trimming a palm tree, police said.
Officials said 15 mph winds may have contributed to the fall.
The man, who was not identified pending notification of relatives, was trimming a 50-foot tree in the backyard of a home in the 600 block of Paseo Place about 11 a.m., police said.
A worker had left to refuel equipment and returned to find his boss on the ground, police said.
