Uncle Held in Slaying of 2-Year-Old Niece

A 2-year-old girl died Saturday from multiple stab wounds allegedly inflicted by her uncle, police said.
Police said Emil Paguio, 33, attacked his niece and his brother in the home he shared with the toddler’s family. Police haven’t determined a motive for the attack.
The toddler, who was not identified, was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where she died a short time later.
Paguio was booked on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
