Thanks to Susan Feniger, She’ll Have Her Own Party

Yum! Colorful grilled food, a mountain of shrimp, strawberries dipped in brown sugar and fruity iced drinks (“A Time to Grill,” by Barbara Thornburg, Style, April 10). All enjoyed on a sunny backyard patio with smiling, happy friends. What better way to celebrate quintessential Southern California? And you included recipes from the queen of California-style comfort food, Susan Feniger.

But the primary reason I’m writing is to thank you--and Feniger--for providing the recipe for Minty Lime Cooler, which uses up a bunch of my limes and mint leaves. I’ve made limeade, lime cake, margaritas--anything to use the fruit from my overproducing lime bush. Your article has given me cause to appreciate my abundance.
