BOYS’ BASKETBALL
* Sultan Toles-Bey, L.A. King-Drew: Scored 34 points, including eight three-point baskets, and had eight assists in a 76-67 victory over L.A. Foshay. The points, assists and three-pointers were all career highs.
* Ian Bailey, Hemet: Scored 17 points as the Bulldogs defeated Perris, 51-47. It was Hemet’s first victory over the Panthers since 1986.
GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
* D.J. Butler, Huntington Beach Ocean View: Had 22 points and 17 rebounds in a 50-36 victory over Costa Mesa.
BOYS’ SOCCER
* Ray Ortiz, La Puente Nogales: Scored the game-winner with less than two minutes remaining in the second overtime of a 2-1 victory over Walnut. It ended a nine-game Walnut win streak.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
* Marcy Gonzalez, Santa Ana Valley: Scored off a cross from Vanessa Zelaya with one minute remaining to give Valley a 1-0 victory over Anaheim Western.
WRESTLING
* Gator Delaney, San Clemente: His 8-6 decision over Bob Straw at 215 ponds helped the Tritons defeat Dana Hills, 38-16. For the last nine years, the winner between the two teams has won the South Coast League title.
