Earthquake Death Toll in North Rises to 11

The casualty toll in Monday’s earthquake in northern Chile rose to 11 dead and 200 injured.
Boulders littered streets, and power and water mains burst in and around the cities of Arica, Iquique and Antofagasta after the 7.9-magnitude quake.
“The church fell down, 15 houses are destroyed and 20 are uninhabitable,” a resident of Huavilla, near Iquique, told local radio.
