Ex-Palestinian Officials to Be Held in Inquiry

Palestinian Atty. Gen. Hussein abu Assi said he had instructed police to detain several former Palestinian Authority officials over alleged financial mismanagement.
“If we find sufficient evidence ... they will be tried and put in jail,” he said. He said more than five suspects were involved.
