Recovering Falwell Told Not to Preach

The Rev. Jerry Falwell said in Lynchburg that he had gotten his doctors’ approval to leave the hospital -- on one condition.
“The doctors agreed to let me go home if I agree to not preach,” Falwell said.
The 71-year-old pastor and chancellor of Liberty University was expected to go home today after a 13-day hospitalization for pneumonia.
