Radical Questions
“The Buck Doesn’t Stop With Newsweek” (Commentary, May 19) begets two questions about radical Islam. If Islam is the religion of peace, why are individuals being killed on the basis of a news report? If American media are biased and unreliable, as the greater Middle East milieu claims, why was Newsweek’s report taken dead seriously only in that region of the world?
