Role of Bishop in Abuse Case Questioned
Re “Opinion Mixed on Idaho Bishop’s Role in Abuse,” May 25: The audacity behind the Catholic Church and its cover-up of the pedophile priests is of continuous and horrified amazement to me. What I don’t understand is why Bishop Michael P. Driscoll is not being charged with any crime? He intentionally put children at risk by helping place these priests in other parishes. Isn’t that considered aiding and abetting or even conspiracy? If not, it sure should be!
