Neville band tops benefit show

The Neville Brothers and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band will headline a bill of New Orleans musicians in an Oct. 27 benefit concert at the House of Blues in West Hollywood. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. today at the club’s box office and at Ticketmaster.

Other acts in the show, designed to provide an employment pipeline and financial aid for Louisiana musicians and to focus attention on New Orleans’ musical culture, include Kermit Ruffins, Trombone Shorty and Walter “Wolfman” Washington.
