2 Men Found Fatally Shot Blocks Apart in Van Nuys
Police are investigating the deaths of two men who were apparently shot to death just blocks away from each other Monday in Van Nuys, authorities said.
It was just before 6 p.m. when residents reported hearing gunshots in the 14000 block of Saticoy Street; a body was discovered a short time later.
Witnesses told police that they had seen a gray van leaving the area, according to Sara Faden, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Not long afterward, police received a report of a man found shot to death in the passenger seat of a gray minivan near Van Nuys Boulevard and Wyandotte Street, according to a police spokesperson.
