Ocean of trouble
I pity those poor little folk of Newport Harbor (“Newport’s War on Sea Lions,” Sept. 15). First they had to curtail the intrusion of the plebs from the Inland Empire, then rid the skies of those deck-spoiling seagulls, and now these rowdy sea lions. I say let’s get rid of the pernicious sand from the bay and then suppress the noise of those pesky waves from the ocean and give the denizens of the harbor the silence they deserve!
