Clubland kingpins Art and Allan Davis just purchased the 7969 club (formerly Peanuts) with plans to turn the West Hollywood hotspot into a high-end gentlemen’s club. The duo, who recently sold their interests in the Lounge, Chi and A.D., have also teamed up with restaurateur Richie Palmer, who owns the famed Beverly Hills pizzeria Mulberry Street. The gang plans to open Mulberry Streets in Las Vegas, Honolulu and Santa Monica.... Sunday’s old-school hip-hop party at Dolce did Run-D.M.C. proud, as guests partied down to the tunes of DJ Incision. Lionel Richie, Wilmer Valderrama and fashion designer Nony Tochterman were among the partiers who had a swell time tagging the restaurant’s walls.... In more party news, US Weekly’s Young Hollywood Hot 20 party on Friday at LAX brought out such hipsters as Hilary Duff, Good Charlotte’s Joel and Benji Madden, “Jackass” Steve-O, Christina Aguilera, Eva Longoria, Jack Osbourne, Mary-Kate Olsen and Paris Hilton.

The Tao of

quarter martinis

Expect the party people to hop their jets for Saturday’s grand opening of Tao Las Vegas, an Asian-themed entertainment complex boasting a 10,000-square-foot nightclub. Tao is located at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino, and the bash is being tossed by Hollywood heavyweights the Alliance, who rock Mood each Wednesday.... Bad boys Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson were spotted at Forty Deuce on Thursday.... A whole lotta shaking’s going on at the Joint as the Groove Divinities kick off a Tuesday-night residency. The group’s members have toured with the likes of Lucinda Williams, Social Distortion, David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Fishbone and the Blind Boys of Alabama.... To toast renovations at Nic’s and the Martini Lounge in Beverly Hills, owner Larry Nicola is offering 25-cent martinis from 6 to 8 p.m. throughout October. Cheers.
