Pastor, 2 Others Indicted on U.S. Fraud Charges

The longtime pastor of a Las Vegas Baptist church, his wife and another minister have been indicted on federal fraud charges of inappropriately using about $330,000 from a Justice Department grant that was intended to fund a halfway house for prison inmates.
The Rev. Willie Davis, 68; his wife, Emma, 51; and the Rev. McTheron Jones, 57, face charges of conspiracy, wire fraud, mail fraud, theft of government property, making false statements to a government agency and obstruction of justice.
