Sony’s Columbia TriStar Names Marketing Head
Jeff Blake has been elevated to chairman of worldwide marketing and distribution for Sony Pictures’ Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group.
Blake, a distribution veteran who previously worked at Paramount Pictures and Disney, joined the studio in 1992. He became vice chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2002, and served as president of worldwide marketing and distribution for the Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group since 2000. Blake has overseen the distribution of such blockbusters as the “Spider-Man” and “Men in Black” films.
