Microsoft to Offer New Windows in Six Versions

Microsoft Corp. said it would offer its new Windows operating system in six versions, including a consumer edition that will let users record and play television.

Windows Vista Home Premium would give customers a wireless link to transmit shows to TVs and enter data on a touch screen with a stylus, Microsoft said. Prices weren’t given.
