Wade Struggles From Field but Heat Wins, 85-84

Dwyane Wade scored 13 of his 15 points on free throws, and Antoine Walker had 13 points off the bench as the Miami Heat beat the Bulls, 85-84, at Chicago.

Wade, who had shot 59% in his last five games and averaged 34.4 points, shot one for eight from the field and had 10 turnovers but was 13 for 13 from the free-throw line.

Wade and Shaquille O’Neal had to battle through foul problems the entire game.

O’Neal finished with 13 points and five rebounds, and Jason Williams scored 12 points for Miami.

San Antonio 92, Houston 77 -- Tony Parker scored 23 points and Tim Duncan had 14 at Houston to help the Spurs keep pace with Dallas for the best record in the West.

Yao Ming scored 20 points for the Rockets, the 13th straight time he has reached 20.

Houston has lost four in a row for the first time since dropping seven straight in January.

Denver 109, New Orleans 94 -- Carmelo Anthony scored 28 points and reserve Greg Buckner capped a 19-point performance with a pair of key three-point baskets for the Nuggets at New Orleans.

The Hornets have lost a season-high eight games in a row.

David West had 24 points and eight rebounds for New Orleans, but he got little help until it was too late.

Kenyon Martin and Andre Miller each scored 17 points for the Nuggets, and Reggie Evans grabbed 16 rebounds.

Milwaukee 97, Portland 93 -- Michael Redd scored 27 of his 33 points in the first half, as the Bucks won their third straight game at home.

Redd was 12 for 21 from the field and seven for eight from the free throw line. Charlie Bell scored 14 points for the Bucks.

Darius Miles scored 26 points and Sebastian Telfair had 21 for the Trail Blazers.
