Four boys and two men were arrested on suspicion of stealing 13 new laptop computers and a computer projector from Washington Middle School, police said Saturday.

The equipment was stolen from a computer lab between Thursday night and Friday morning. Some of the suspects allegedly tried to sell some of the Apple G4 laptops, each valued at $1,300, to teachers at Poly Academy of Accelerated Learning, located at a high school half a mile away. Eleven of the 13 laptops have been recovered, and some were found in the suspects’ homes, police said.
