NBC dumps ‘Kidnapped’
From City News Service
NBC has dropped the little-watched first-year serialized drama “Kidnapped” from its schedule because of declining ratings, with reruns of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” set to air in its place from 9 to 10 p.m. Saturdays effective immediately.
NBC had announced earlier that “Kidnapped” would end production after completion of its 13-episode order. Its remaining eight episodes will be shown on NBC’s website, NBC.com, a network executive said.
“Kidnapped” stars Timothy Hutton and Dana Delany as parents of a 15-year-old kidnapping victim (Will Denton).
