Polish puppets ‘Escape’

The Wroclawski Teatr Lalek (Wroclaw Puppet Theater) of Poland makes its L.A. premiere with “The Last Escape,” which tells stories of an old pensioner who defies his stark reality through an intense life of the imagination. Based on work by 20th century writer and artist Bruno Schulz, this avant-garde production is adapted, designed and directed by Aleksander Maksymiak.
