Metrolink to run O.C.-Riverside trains on holiday
To ease congestion on the Riverside Freeway on Thanksgiving Day, Metrolink will run six special round-trip commuter trains between Riverside and Orange County.
The trains will run roughly every 90 minutes beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday from downtown Riverside. They will stop in Corona and will serve Anaheim Canyon, Orange, Santa Ana, Tustin and Irvine. The last train from Irvine leaves at 7:30 p.m.
The Riverside County Transportation Commission approved the special schedule in cooperation with agencies in Orange and San Bernardino counties. Information and schedules: www.metrolinkweekends.com.
