A boar’s head, and she was hooked

I enjoyed your recent article on revival of the macabre Victorian look [“Spooooky,” Oct. 26]. I decorate my house that way -- with an antique coffin propped in the corner of my living room. I became interested in the style by accident -- a friend at work was throwing out an old taxidermied boar’s head and I brought it home as a joke for my husband. When I noticed how well it worked with my gothic antiques, it started me down the road to what my friends call my “Addams Family” decor.
