Holiday closures
The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday:
Offices: All city, county and federal offices and courts will be closed today and Friday.
Mail: There will be no mail delivery and post offices will be closed.
Libraries: Most libraries will be closed today and Friday.
Banks: Most banking institutions will be closed today; most will be open Friday.
Schools: Public schools, community colleges, UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton and Chapman University will be closed today and Friday.
Public transportation: Metrolink trains will run on a limited schedule; for details call (800) 371-LINK. Orange County Transportation Authority will run on a Sunday/holiday schedule and will return to normal schedule Friday.
Trash collection: Trash will not be picked up today; collections will be one day late the remainder of the week.
