Police Officer Held in Alleged Molestation
A Desert Hot Springs police officer was arrested Thursday on suspicion of aggravated assault of a child.
Dennis Decker faces multiple felony counts involving alleged sexual assault of a child, officials at the Riverside County district attorney’s office said. He was taken into custody while attending a law enforcement training conference in Los Angeles.
Decker has been placed on administrative leave and held at Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside on $1-million bail.
