Minor damage reported after train hits truck

Passengers aboard a southbound Metrolink commuter train were delayed for more than an hour Thursday when the train hit an 18-wheel truck that was stuck on the tracks.
There were no injuries, and the damage was minor, authorities said.
The accident occurred about 6:30 p.m. near Lincoln and Fairhaven avenues after the truck tried to make a turn on the tracks, Sgt. E. McManus of the Santa Ana Police Department said.
