* Chicago 7, at Kansas City 4: Mark Buehrle didn’t pitch another no-hitter. He gave up five hits in seven innings and Paul Konerko, who had not homered since opening day, hit a pair of two-run homers and drove in five runs for the White Sox.
* Seattle 5, at Texas 4: Ichiro Suzuki went three for five with a three-run triple at Arlington as the Mariners ended a six-game losing streak.
* Toronto 7, at Boston 3: Frank Thomas hit his 490th homer, a go-ahead, two-run drive off Tim Wakefield in the sixth inning for the Blue Jays. Aaron Hill had four hits, including a two-run homer in the ninth.
* Oakland 6, at Baltimore 5: Nick Swisher hit two home runs, including a drive that sparked a five-run fourth inning against Erik Bedard, and the Athletics ended the Orioles’ four-game winning streak.
* Cleveland 7, at Minnesota 3 (12 innings): Ryan Garko drove in the go-ahead run for the second straight game and Travis Hafner matched his career high with four hits. Roberto Hernandez (2-1) picked up the victory with two scoreless innings at Minneapolis.
* at Tampa Bay 10, New York 8: Rocco Baldelli and B.J. Upton combined to drive in seven runs for the Devil Rays.
* Detroit 9, at Angels 5: Curtis Granderson was one hit away from the cycle in the Tigers’ victory.
