I wonder if Ducks free-agent forward Dustin Penner would agree with his general manager’s view that the five-year offer of $21.25 million tendered him by the Edmonton Oilers was “gutless” and “an act of desperation?” It’s funny how one’s opinion is often determined by one’s perspective.
