Dunkin’ Brands sells Togo’s chain

Dunkin’ Brands Inc., the owner of Dunkin’ Donuts, sold the Togo’s Franchised Eateries sandwich chain to San Francisco buyout firm Mainsail Partners as it focuses on increasing doughnut and coffee sales in the U.S.
San Jose-based Togo’s sells sandwiches, salads and soups, Mainsail said. It has 261 stores in the Western U.S. and had sales of $157 million in 2006. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
